Nancy Walker Benjamin has worked as a children's book editor and writer and has collected children's books on trips both in this country and abroad. She has especially enjoyed reading books to her own children - and, most recently, to her grandchildren. She has a Masters degree in Linguistics, and has been a high school teacher of foreign languages. She and her husband have three grown children and four grandchildren. They make their home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
